【合作案例精选】里海海底光缆项目

2023年5月23日,在“中国-上海合作组织数字技术合作发展论坛”开幕式上,《中国-上合组织国家数字领域合作案例集(2023年)》(以下简称案例集)正式发布。此案例集从申报企业、应用国家、案例简介、应用背景及实施效果等多个角度对入围案例的创新成果和最佳实践进行系统性归纳与梳理。合作案例应用覆盖中国、俄罗斯、印度、哈萨克斯坦、乌兹别克斯坦等国家,有效推动了上海合作组织国家数字领域产品、服务、应用、数字基础设施和解决方案方面经验共享,为上海合作组织国家数字领域国际合作树立了标杆典范。案例集中入选的37个项目颇具代表性,本篇文章将对《里海海底光缆项目》案例进行详述。 

案例介绍

该案例由华海通信技术有限公司与哈萨克斯坦国家电信公司、阿塞拜疆电信公司共同完成。里海海底光缆项目是穿越里海连接哈萨克斯坦和阿塞拜疆的海底通信光缆系统,全长373公里,包括海底中继器、海底光缆、开放海缆接入设备、海底供电设备等。作为全球领先的供应商,华海通信为项目提供海洋通信领域领先的64波乘400G中继传输技术,可以提供每纤对25.6Tbit/s的超大数据容量,是世界海洋通信领域目前可商用的最大带宽。

案例背景

里海海底光缆项目是哈萨克斯坦数字发展、创新和航空航天工业部“可及网络”国家项目一部分,将打造中欧跨里海数据传输走廊,为国际数据传输提供替代路线,增加哈萨克斯坦在欧洲与东亚之间数据传输中的份额。该项目也是阿塞拜疆Digital Silk Way(DSW,数字丝绸之路)的重要组成部分和先行起步部分,DSW也于2020年在“全球战略基础设施领袖论坛”(Global Strategic Infrastructure Leadership Forum)上被评为亚洲五佳战略基础设施项目之一。

该案例中,华海海底中继器以其更多纤对、更高带宽和更优性能完美匹配客户需求。最新版本HMN RPT 1660 R2C50支持32纤对系统传输,且充分利用C和C+波段、传输带宽支持39.5nm带宽;同时22.5dBm的高增益和24dB的高输出功率以及3.9dB噪声系数,提供了更优异的系统传输性能,长距项目明显节省成本;另外多种定制化的泵浦冗余架构、电路冗余设计和成熟的钛合金机械结构提供了极高的系统可靠性。

华海同时为项目配置了海洋通信行业最新的开放式海缆接入设备OCAE,为系统提供了开放的业务接入平台,同时能够高精度波道监测、光路自动容灾、业务灵活组网、故障实时监测和定位。华海还为项目配备了行业领先的供电设备PFE。华海自主研发的PFE设备可提供高达18KV的输出电压,支持更长距离、更多纤对、更高带宽、更大容量的海缆系统。

This case was jointly completed by HMN Technologies Co., Limited, Kazakhtelecom and AzerTelecom.The Caspian Sea Submarine Cable Project is a submarine communication cable system across the Caspian Sea connecting Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, with a total length of 373 km, including submarine repeaters, submarine fiber optic cables, open sea cable access equipment, and submarine power supply equipment, etc. As a global leading supplier, HMN Tech provided the project with the leading 64* 400G relay transmission technology in the field of ocean communication, which can provide a huge data capacity of 25.6Tbit/s per fiber pair, the largest commercially available bandwidth in the world's ocean communication field.

Case background

The Caspian Sea Submarine Cable Project, which is part of the "Accessible Internet" project of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan, will create a trans-Caspian data transmission corridor for Central Europe, which will provide an alternative route for the international transmission of data and will increase Kazakhstan's share in the transmission of data between Europe and East Asia. The project is also a key component and a starting point of Azerbaijan's Digital Silk Way (DSW), which was also recognized as one of the top five strategic infrastructure projects in Asia at the Global Strategic Infrastructure Leadership Forum in 2020.

In this case, HMN submarine repeater perfectly matches the customer's needs with more fiber pairs, higher bandwidth and better performance. The latest version of HMN RPT 1660 R2C50 supports 32 fiber-pair system transmission and fully utilizes the C and C+ bands, with a transmission bandwidth of 39.5nm. Meanwhile, the high gain of 22.5dBm, high output power of 24dB, and a noise figure of 3.9dB provide superior system transmission performance, resulting in significant savings in long-distance projects. In addition, a variety of customized pump redundant architectures, circuit redundant designs, and mature titanium mechanical structures provide extremely high performance.

HMN Tech also equipped the project with OCAE, the latest open cable access equipment in the marine communication industry, which provides an open service access platform for the system, and enables high-precision channel monitoring, automatic disaster tolerance of optical paths, flexible service networking, and real-time fault monitoring and localization. HMN Tech also equipped the project with industry-leading power supply equipment PFE. The PFE independently developed by HMN Tech can provide output voltage up to 18KV, and support submarine cable systems with longer distance, more fiber pairs, higher bandwidth, and larger capacity.
